1. When you register as a member of 6PC, you will provide your personal information which will be held by 6PC for the entire duration of your membership.
2. When you visit 6PC pages, the pages of certain 6PC partners, and when you enter into any 6PC promotions, you will make your personal information available to 6PC and the respective 6PC partner, including your IP address, 6PC cookie information, and the page you requested.
3. Please do not send us any personal data if you do not want that information to be processed by us in the ways described by this notice.
4. In line with 6PC’s goals to facilitate networking between the members, we request a number of personal details, like name, date of birth and photograph. However, in light of the legal systems in certain countries or areas, you are allowed to use an assumed name or deviating date of birth, in order to avoid legal or social problems.
5. We will use your information for the purposes of networking within the parameters of The 6PC Network. This includes record keeping and visitors tracking, site performance and the creation of marketing reports. These personal data collected will be aggregated and no personal or sensitive data will be used other than for the purpose for which it was originally obtained.
6. 6PC may also use information for the following general purposes:
   1. to customize the content you see,
   2. fulfill your requests for products and services,
   3. improve our services,
   4. contact you,
   5. conduct research, and
   6. provide anonymous, aggregated reporting for internal and external partners and clients.
7. You agree that by registering as a member, your information may accessed by all other members of the Network for the purpose of networking.
8. Your information will be controlled and processed solely by Board members and appointed volunteers. We will not disclose your data to any other third party unless required to do so by law or regulators.
9. We acknowledge that your contact details and application data ("your information") are confidential and are to be used for 6PC approved purposes only. We will maintain the confidentiality of your information and protect it in accordance with normal procedures and all applicable laws.
10. 6PC does not rent or sell your information to, and does not share it with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services at your request, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
    1. We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with 6PC under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help 6PC communicate with you about offers from 6PC and our marketing partners. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.
    2. We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
    3. We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of 6PC's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
11. You have the right to access and rectify your personal data by submitting the web forms provided on www.6PC.info. If this does not work, you can contact our webmaster for assistance.
12. For your benefit or interest, links to certain web sites are being provided (either members' sites, or third party sites). If you choose to visit such a site, please be aware that the third party's privacy policy will exclusively govern your activities and any information you disclose while visiting the third party's site.
13. You agree that we are permitted to send you certain communications relating to the 6PC service, such as service announcements, administrative messages and the 6PC Newsletter, that are considered part of your 6PC account.
14. You can resign from your 6PC account by using our Resignation Page. However, your details could remain in our archived records after your account has been deleted, for the period of time necessary to finalize the unsubscription process.
15. 6PC may update this policy at any time at its sole discretion. We will notify you about significant changes by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your 6PC account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
