- Check profiles and make (constructive) comments on them.
- Send birthday greetings to the people you like to be in contact with.
- Search the website for other members by using keywords - this is a good feature the website can boast
- Read profiles carefully - people have described what business they are in or subjects they are interested in, and they are inviting others to contact them.
- Participate into meetings.
- Be proactive - seek out people of common interests even if they live on the other side of the world - you don't have to meet - it is after all first and foremost a virtual network.
- You need enough free time. I do believe that you need to devote time to building a new "electronic relationship". If you are not prepared to do that you might as well not bother.
