Networking:

There are many opportunities to network with other members. By so doing, you make new and develop existing contacts, meet potential new customers or friends and become better known throughout the lesbian and gay (business) community. You will be able to get help when travelling, planning a holiday or doing business abroad.

Special Offers:

Many 6PC members offer other members special discounts or benefits. We also intend to negotiate discounts with other bodies and groups.

The 6PC membership list and referral service:

As a Member, you will have access to the secured members only area, with a complete member list and database with search function. When appropriate, we try to make suitable referrals to other members. All members will be able to form groups of interest and make their own referrals.

Newsletters:

A regular e-Newsletter goes out to all members, to keep you in touch with what's going on in the world of 6PC. You can also include information about your business as a banner, at a nominal fee - or for free in case you offer a substantial member discount.

Social events:

We are a virtual Network: because of our global scope it is not feasible to hold real life meetings with all members. However, individual members, groups and local Chapters can meet on a social basis to get to know each other better. This can be a workshop, over a meal, a drink, for a dance or some other specially organised event. The Board will initiate and stimulate such meetings where appropriate.

Social involvement:

The social and geographical background of the Network is very diverse. This makes it difficult to define a Social Charter, or engage in organised political or social activity. However, local Chapters have been formed to address issues that concern them and their environment - 6PC facilitates this, but cannot be the sender of their message.

Job opportunities:

The Network has already proven to be a useful platform for the exchange of information on jobs. We intend to develop this aspect in more detail in the Special Interest Platform 6PC @ Work, and look to work closely with specialize members and a number of organisations to promote work placement schemes and job opportunities.

Use of the 6PC Logo:

Incorporating our logo on your letterhead, your website or in your advertising shows insiders that you are part of the gang, and makes outsiders curious as to what is behind that enigmatic name.
